Romanian top fancier Florea Sorin has built himself a new loft, one of the biggest projects in recent international pigeon racing. Several fanciers from all across the world were invited for the grand opening of his loft, including PIPA partner Thomas Gyselbrecht. The result of a long and close friendship between Mr Sorin and PIPA.
Some of the people present were famous fanciers who have in the meantime become friends of Mr Sorin such as Hugo Batenburg, Jelle Jellema, Bart Geerinckx, Stefaan Lambrechts, Hardy Krüger, Klaus Stieneker, Daniel Bucaciuc, Marius Cislaru, Dominique Velghe, Gino Clicque, Joel Verschoot and Cristiano Paltrinieri. The celebration started on Friday evening with a dinner for all people present. The loft opening was held on Saturday with national and international press and film crews. The opening day was concluded with yet another cosy dinner.
