Whoever speaks of Braad-De Joode, soon says in 2010 ‘Henky 98’ … wonder man in the NPO races with ring number NL09-1332498 and already with the title 1. Ace pigeon extreme middle distance province 2 in his pocket …a very serious candidate for the title ‘1. Nat. Ace pigeon extreme middle distance’. He shone in the three toughest of the five NPO classics, and raced the following honours list together:

‘Henky 98’ is a son of ‘Crack 185’, self winner 4x 1. prize, a 3.-8.-8.-13.-24. district against 2.300 pigeons and already father of ‘Scool 3’’, 1. prize winner German Open 2009. Mother of ‘Henky 98’ comes from Henk Melis out his 666 … she is a sister of ‘Dario’, who won 1. NPO Ruffec in province Zeeland in 2004 and 2005! In other words magnificent lines

At the end of the ride the men can rightly be proud of the 1. championship extreme middle distance in Union De Baronie (an average of 1.573 p.) and the 3. championship extreme middle distance of the entire province Brabant 2000 …The Ace pigeons ranking in Union De Baronie shows that Jeroen and Cees have 1., 3., 7., 8., 12., 13., 17., 21., 31., 32., 44., 45. place … in province 2 it is 1., 3., 27., 36., 38., 41. … simply formidable; you would have to do really well to beat this. Translated in results the respect just grows and grows. So many top pigeons and a prize percentage 1:4 of more than seventy percent (!), that is licking one’s lips and enjoying:

Another eye-catcher in the lofts in Woudrichem is the formidable NL04-0442748 ‘Lamborghini’ … a pigeon with already a breath-taking number of titles on the conto:

‘Lamborghini’ comes out ‘Young Stelth’, winner of 6. NPO Tours against 18.810 pigeons out Braad-De Joode’s best pigeon ever, the ‘Stealth’ (1. Ace pigeon extreme middle distance Brabant 2000 in 1999) … ‘Young Stealth’ was already father of ‘Arathorn’ with 5. NPO Tours against 16.154 pigeons and 5. NPO Ruffec against 7.116 pigeons … this ‘Arathorn’ was also father of ‘Aragorn’, 1. Super Golden Crack over 2006 to 2008 and also 2007 to 2009 (for this the best three performances over the last three years over the entire South-Netherlands are taken into account) … Mother of ‘Lamborgini’ comes then out the ‘Crack 185’, the already introduced father of ‘Henky 98’!!
Since 1992 the pigeon sport has known Kees and Jeroen as the combination Braad-De Joode … who initially raced very strongly with the Zoontjens pigeons which they first bought in 1990. In addition to good pigeons, Wal also gave them good advice … concerning feeding, racing … and can certainly be seen as the most important taskmaster. Later the same bloodlines were also obtained via H&O Nieuwendijk. Jeroen and Kees are precise fanciers; cleaning twice a day, they keep a close eye medically and the care is very punctual. The season was started with sixty widowers, wherefrom generally the thirty men who were in the best condition were raced in the discipline in which they shined: the 1-day classics between the 550 and 750 km … a unique quality of the now closely related family Zoontjens pigeons.
