Today Derby Arona Tenerife’s held CAR RACE No.2. After the disaster of the first race, when from the 1500 pigeons launch only 339 were able to return to loft over several days, today’s race has not caused any unpleasant surprise. Let’s see the race summary and weather.

339 pigeons were released at 10:30 for 130km race. In less than one hour and a half, in fact after 1h 18min and exactly 42 seconds, our friend Pieter Oberholster pigeon, South Carolina, conquered the first position of the ranking. Congratulations to the winner, Pieter Oberholster, from the whole team Team Sorin Florea, but especially from his good friend, Mr. Sorin Florea.

Sorin Florea’s pigeons successfully evolved, 4 from the 5 pigeons enrolled at start of the race finished in the top 100. In the overall standings Sorin Flore’s pigeons won 17,34,63, 92 and 165 places.
