South Africa Million Dollar Pigeon Race 2017 claimed today the race Race Car with number 5. Releasing of pigeons was at 6 AM on a bright and cold weather. Since from the start the pigeons had endured a wind from ahead which was increasingly in the race. Weather conditions got worse from one hour to another, temperature rise up to 27 degrees Celsius, and the wind increasingly more powerful. It all culminated on the night with a strong storm.
Due to these extremely harsh weather conditions with excessive humidity above 95%, after more than 12 hours since the release of pigeons only 50% have succeeded to finish the race.
If you take a closer look at the rank, we can notice the large number of pigeons from USA and Germany, a proportional number of pigeon breeders race enrolled in one of these countries, owning a real portfolio of victories in the race at SAMDPR.
We can’t go on to the detailing of the results without having to mention an important aspect. Perhaps the most important … Considering the difficulty of the race overall and especially today’s race in which flight conditions were extreme, only the strongest pigeons, most determined and only those who have a genetic signature of champions have finished and will finish the race.
After today’s race resulted in a series of top performances for our friends and partners Jan Hooymans and Klaus Stienecker. As in the case of the Team Florea Sorin’s pigeons, pigeons Hooymans and Stienecker have demonstrated value and constant. Over than 70% of the pigeons from today launch of each of the three breeders mentioned above, have finished the race. Wich means a top performance due to the qualities of these pigeons!
Florea Sorin Team’s pigeons had an excelent day , occupying places 2,3,5,11 ,12,14,18,20, 21,26,28, 29,31,34,etc in the pigeons from Romania. At this time 18 Florea Sorin’s pigeons has endend infernal race from today.
Knowing the quality of racing pigeons from Romania, their references and especially constant positioning at the top of the rankings, we can say without doubt that Romania will compete for first place in the final of South Africa’s Million Dollar Pigeon Race 2017.
