A sample of ‘pure strength’… we couldn’t describe better the performances of super pigeon ‘Il Ragno’ from the team ‘Stella Rossa’ from Rocco Toscani. In the interprovincial race from Otranto (791 Km) he achieved his second interprovincial victory within a month!
Last weekend this wondrous super crack once again hit mercilessly, this time from Otranto… a long distance race of 791 Km, raced in temperatures between the 36 and 38 degrees Celsius, and the accompanying headwind. Climatic factors bordering on the immense… on the impossible… and in which the majority of the pigeons had to give up due to it being ‘too tough’! Similair conditions… even a bit tougher… than our national Montauban and Libourne one and a half weeks ago. With a velocity of 1043m/min ‘Il Ragno’ shook all the opponents off and won his 2nd interprovincial victory within a month.

1° Interprovincial Molfetta 3.372 pigeons(594 Km with 1113 m/min on the 29th of May 2011)
1° Interprovincial Otranto 2.600 pigeons (791 Km with 1043 m/min on the 25th of June)

4° Interprovincial Brindisi 3.403 pigeons (on the 12th of June 2011)
Superior performances from a ‘top talent’ on an ‘Ace bird course’! A top athlete of iron and steel… wrought from that golden Marcel Aelbrecht blood in crossing with lines from ‘Vital’ (national Ace bird by Noël Lippens) and the ‘Didi’ (national Ace bird by Etienne Devos). No… ‘good blood’ never lies!
Because in his pedigree we see that his father is a direct Andre Verbesselt, and then a direct ‘Son Miss Joice’ B09-4322753 (out ‘Son Bak 17’ B07-4373754 x ‘Miss Joice’ B05-4130439… or the golden M.Aelbrecht-blood) x ‘Graziella’ B03-3001648, hen originating from Etienne Devos (and granddaughter of ‘Vital’ Noël Lippens x the golden ‘Didi-line’).
Within four weeks there are no less than 2.108 Km on his counter… raced in very tough, almost tropical, in other words ‘extreme’ weather conditions… which not only proves his power, but also his enormous recuperation capacity! But this is probably something specific for super pigeons in ‘blood form’, in super condition… a sample of pure ‘power’, signed… ‘Il Ragno’!
The ‘Stella Rossa’-team from Rocco Toscani obviously enjoys the exploits of their top athlete to the full… which can not only make a claim for the title of the ‘strongest’ pigeon of the sport season 2011, but which can also be considered one of the greatest crack pigeons of this season! An exceptional top talent!
